Part I: Status of Project
A.  This project is sponsored by Griffin-Spalding Partners in Educations. Applicants are encouraged to involve Partners in Education. Are you planning to involve a partner? If yes, how?
B.  State how your project is related to your School Improvement Plan and what specific school/school system goal(s) it addresses.



Part II: Project Description and Methodology
A.  Rationale – Why is this project needed?
Include a general statement of why your project is important to children’s learning. Also specify what you will do in your project.
B.  Objectives – What will the students learn?
State the expected outcomes of your project in measurable behavioral terms (up to three objectives).
C.  Timeline – What are the specific steps that will be initiated once the grant proposal is implemented? Give approximate dates for each step.
D.  Evaluation – What formative as well as summative measures will you capture to determine the success of your grant proposal?
State how you will know if you achieve your objectives – specifically what will you use to measure the project’s success?



Part III: Project Budget
A.  Project Budget – What resources do you need?
Provide an itemized list of materials required for your project and the estimated costs. Remember to include shipping costs if applicable. If your project requires more than $2,000, state how you have already secured additional funding. Your budget should be reasonable, appropriate, and specific.
